Magnet is an augmented reality coupon app that provides a fun experience of discovering new things by collecting coupons based on the user’s location and interests.

Daily Reward


Everyday when you first launch the app, you get to collect one coupon out of three options.

The collected coupon will be added to your coupon bag.

Missions

You will be assigned different types of missions which you can see when you tap on the flag icon.  

You will see the process and the details of each missions.

Discover

To see where the coupons are located, you tap the logo in the nav bar to enter the map.

If you find the coupon you want, you tap enter icon on the right to enter AR screen. Then hold and drag the logo near to the coupon.

The collected coupon can be found in your coupon bag.

Trade

If you have collected coupons that you don’t think you will use, you can always trade them into the one you want at the coupon tap in the nav bar.

To trade in, first, you pick the wished coupon that you already added in your wish list, then, select ten coupons you have in your bag.

Context


This is David.

David likes to try new restaurants that he passes everyday.

Also, for his new years resolution, David has planned to be healthier and build better budget.

David found a coupon app named Magnet which lets you collect coupons by physically getting there.

He is interested with the app and he is willing to give a try.


On Boarding




David decides to take a preview of Magnet, then he signs up the app, so he creates the account.

He is excited to use the app.

Discovering


David selects his interests and gets to collect one free coupon.

He discovers features in the app and checks where the coupons are locating at.

Collecting



After David finds out where the coupon is locating at, he goes out and collects the coupon that he wants.



Satisfiaction

After David uses Magnet, he is super satisfied with the app since he could do two things that he likes to do at once.

Switch Account


If you are a business owner, and you are willing to promote your own business through Magnet, you can simply switch to your supplier account at the profile tab on the nav bar.



Upload / Purchase

Once you are done with the on boarding process, you will now be able to post your own deal on Magnet.

In order to post your deal, you may simply tap on to the logo icon.

Context

Kevin is an owner of a bar.

There are so many competitors near his bar these days, so he wants a new way to attract customers.

Although Kevin uses printout coupons and social media advertisements, he is not seeing more customers in his bar.


Kevin looks into some coupon apps where he could promote his bar, and he finds an app called Magnet.


On Boarding

Kevin decides to sign up the app, so he creates the account.

He is excited to use the app.

Purchasing

After Kevin sets up his account, he uploads the information about  the promotion and purchases it.

Waiting

When Kevin is done with the purchase, he waits for more customers to come with the coupons he uploaded.

Kevin sees the number of the coupons he uploaded is going down, which means there are  people who are interested with his bar.

Kevin is satisfied with the app since there are more customers coming with the coupons.
